Pèlerin is one of our 3 safari tents, which overlook the beautiful countryside of the Lot department, SW France. We are 23km N of Cahors and 25km SE of Gourdon. Experience the joy of the outdoors, with comfortable beds, solar powered electrics, a gas hob, fridge, running hot & cold water, a bathroom inside the tent with a fabulous shower & a flushing toilet! Enjoy our heated swimming pool and terrace. Relax and watch the sun go down from the tent terrace and enjoy the spectacular night skies. Immerse yourself in nature with the benefit of home comforts. We have a lovely area of woodland for children to play in and for adults to relax in a hammock in the shade. We have table football, ping pong, badminton and petanque. A lovely heated pool situated in the ancient courtyard of our stone farmhouse. A small rustic shop in our ancient bread oven stocked with essentials. We have chickens, and depending on the time of year, sheep/goats/cows, a lovely Border Collie and a lazy cat. Please note that the third bedroom is a Cabin Bed, so the room is the bed and it is accessed by a ladder. Children love it and agile adults too! Guests may access the pool between 9am and 9pm. We live in the old farmhouse on site and are always available if you need help or have questions. If not, we will leave you in peace to get on with your holiday. We can deliver fresh bread and pastries to your tent each day, (except Mondays), if you wish. These need to be ordered in advance. We live in amongst lovely countryside. We are near a small hamlet, and our nearest facilites are 8km away at Saint Germain du Bel Air. There is a newly renovated café/restaurant/bar/épicerie in Gigouzac only 4km away. There are other restaurants too in the neighbouring villages of Peyrilles and Ussel. We love visiting local markets in Gigouzac, Catus, Cahors, Gourdon, and Labastide Murat. Please be reassured that we are adapting our cleaning procedures and putting measures in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our tents are well spaced and very well ventilated.
