We have one beautifully furnished bell tent and a separate field shelter which can be used as an everyday living space. Located just a few miles from Stansted Airport, Gemini camp offers an off-grid experience in the heart of a busy part of the country. What makes Gemini camp special is that guests have the whole site to themselves. The six-acre field was previously a horse paddock, but it has now been transformed into a private nature reserve. Wildlife is all around you, so fire up the woodburner, sit back and enjoy. It's also an ideal base to explore the local area - there are some beautiful historic villages in rural Essex (including Finchingfield and Thaxted) and nearby Suffolk. There is a mainline railway station in the local village of Elsenham, with direct links to both Cambridge and London. Golf World Stansted is situated right next door, featuring a nine hole golf course, gym, cafe, bar and an adventure golf course. There is a local pub and shop in Elsenham and Stansted Mountfitchet is a just a short drive away. In this historic town, enjoy the popular Mountfitchet Castle and Toy Museum tourist attractions. Gemini camp is only a few miles from the M11 and Stansted Airport. There are also three train stations within a 15 minute drive (closest is Elsenham, which is on the mainline between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street). One well-behaved dog allowed. Must be kept in close control due to sensitive nature of the site.
