The gîte de la Truffière is a lovely Périgord house located in the heart of truffle trees and 10 minutes from Bergerac airport. You will appreciate the calm and serenity for a family vacation It consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 with a 160 bed. A convertible sofa is available on the mezzanine as well as a baby chair and a travel cot. 2 bathrooms, one of which is fitted with a balneotherapy bath and Italian shower, 2 toilets. A spacious dining room with direct access to the terrace. In addition, there is a friendly lounge and you will also appreciate the small relaxation area near the lounge with views of the countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave ...). Upstairs, there is a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. Also available are reading and games, bicycles, table tennis. The terrace gives you direct access to the swimming pool. A marked hiking trail starts from the gîte and will allow you to take a very pleasant walk to discover the medieval villages of Issigeac and Monsaguel. The closest village is that of Bouniagues located 2km from the gîte where you can find different shops (food, hairdresser, bakery, beautician ...). A little further, you will appreciate the good restaurants in the neighboring villages, the markets (and especially that of Issigeac at 5 min on Sunday morning) offering regional products and tasting wines from our region (Monbazillac, Bergerac vineyards .. .). To discover circuit of country houses (Eymet, Beaumont, Monpazier .....), mythical Lascaux cave, and picturesque walks in the many villages of Périgord.
