Seaside room
This is one of two rooms l let through air bnb and has the best view overlooking Swansea bay. I share my house with two quiet, post graduate students. The house is on the edge of Singleton Park and a short walk to the university. It is self check in with key from keysafe. Guests are welcome to make themselves at home and .tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc are provided. The room is next to the bathroom. There is a kitten in the house. The house is not suitable for children. The house is colourful, cosy, quiet, calm, quirky, old but newly renovated, lots of original Victorian features. Comfy beds and spotlessly clean shared spaces. Organic tea and milk and ground coffee... nice friendly host (so I'm told!) making it a lovely place for short or long stay :) The house is large enough to avoid any face-to-face interaction during your stay and permits social distancing. Please leave the front door key in the safe for other guests. Please note that a kitten lives here. He is very friendly so you will need to keep your door closed if you don't want him in your room. Guests have access to kitchen, bathroom, dining room, study, secluded south facing garden and covered patio. I'm happy to either socialise or leave you in complete peace- it's your call. Please feel free to use the kitchen to make drinks or prepare a meal. There's only room for one person at a time in the kitchen so it's one in and one out to maintain social distancing. There are two fridges, a freezer, dishwasher, microwave and gas cooker. It's a quiet friendly neighbourhood. Although there are a few students in the area they are no trouble and only around in term. There is free parking outside the house but take care to avoid residents only parking further down the road. There are some great local bars, not least Noahs Yard in Uplands and plenty of restaurants and shops. There’s a very handy Co-op shop at the bottom of Brynmill Lane a short walking distance from the house. Most amenities are within walking distance...sea, pubs, parks, shops, uni, hospital. There's a good bus service into the city centre, Mumbles and Gower and the Traveline App is helpful in planning your journey and providing details of public transport. There's a great cycle track from Mumbles along Oystermouth road along the sea front down to the Marina. There is a cat in the house who is only allowed restricted access to outside so please take care not to let him out when arriving or leaving. Please do not leave open windows unattended. PLEASE leave the lid of the toilet DOWN at all times...the kitten is fascinated by water!
