Kaipaki Loft House - Unique Mystery Creek Retreat

Kaipaki Loft House is centrally located on Kaipaki Road in the heart of the Waikato Region. This home-away-from-home sleeps two and affords guests privacy and comfort in a relaxed country setting with beautiful views of old oak trees, country fields and distant hills. Whether you are here to take a well-deserved break, explore surrounding areas, attend an event or need accommodation a short drive from Waikato Hospital you'll find our Loft House the perfect place to base yourself. Drive in and park right outside a private access which leads directly into the kitchen-diner. We provide a Continental Breakfast with a selection of hot beverages, free range eggs from our chickens, gluten-free and regular toast bread, standard milk and a dairy-free option, and when available spray-free homemade preserved fruit. Venture through the cavity slider into a separate lounge with comfortable seating, a wall mounted television with Freeview and Netflix, and a variety of reading material. North facing french doors lead you to a deck and outdoor area perfect for barbecuing and relaxing. To the left of the main entrance is an outdoor power point suitable for a portable E.V. charger. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom, with shower, toilet, vanity and heated towel rail. The toiletries provided are soothing and nourishing, and are paraben and sulphate free. Please feel free to use the washing machine which has been recently installed for your convenience. At the top of the stairs awaits a well proportioned bedroom space with a comfortable queen-size bed. Opposite the bed is a wall mounted smart tv with Freeview and Netflix and located on the bedside drawers are power points and USB ports . A private landing is accessed through double doors, a superb spot to sit back and relax while taking in expansive country views. As the sleeping area is a loft room there are head-height restrictions so please take extra care. Guests have sole use of all areas of the guest house, and the adjacent outside areas. Please feel free to wander around the property. However, we ask that guests don't access the area immediately around the main house, including the swimming pool and spa. Conveniently located, Kaipaki Loft House is only 5 km (5 minutes) to Hamilton Airport, 3.4 km to Mystery Creek Event Centre and 12-16 minutes to Waikato Hospital. Close by are four lovely cafes and the beautiful town of Cambridge is only an 11 km journey and boasts more wonderful cafes and restaurants, a myriad of other shops, and two supermarkets. If cycling is your buzz the Avantidrome Waikato is a 14 minute drive, or explore the many cycle trails on our doorstep. Those with rowing in mind can reach Lake Karapiro in 17 minutes and Hamilton City is a 19 km drive. Here you'll find the beautiful Hamilton Gardens, Museums, Theatres, the FMG Stadium and much much more. Further afield, discover the magic of the Waitomo Glow worm Caves, Sanctuary Mountain - Maungatautari, the Otorohanga Kiwi House and for those Lord of the Rings fans, Hobbiton is a must see. Please be aware that there is an 80 km speed limited on the roads adjacent to the property and a 60 km speed restriction from the top of Mystery Creek road and past Mystery Creek Event Centre Offices. Taxis and buses can be accessed from our nearby towns and city. For your safety, sensor lights are placed strategically around the building should you arrive late, or need to walk around the building after sunset.
