Villa Floral, idyllic stone houses in Kefalonia

„Villa Floral“ is a private property, renovated in 2016, located in a tiny, idyllic village in the north of Kefalonia island about 10 minute drive from the famous sailing and yacht harbor Fiscardo and 90 minutes from the islands´ airport. The two traditional villas with the sky-blue shutters and the amazing view over Ithaki – Odysseus´ island, are surrounded by olive groves, almond trees and flowers. Quiet, sandy beaches and the “Myrtos” beach are are at 30 minutes accessible. SIMPLICITY is the state of mind we share - Two stone villas, renovated 2016 with natural materials, with private terraces and a shared pool between the properties, provide a high level of self-catering accommodation for 4-8 guests. The full of rustic charm interior design combines comfort and tradition with contemporary and antique furniture of wood, stone walls and wood-framed rooms. The lower villa has a balcony, the upper villa has a terrace with direct sea view and a new private jacuzzi. Each villa is 75 sq m split on two floors, with a living-dining area in the ground floor (air-conditioned) including all the amenities needed. One double bedroom (air-conditioned), one twin bedroom (ceiling fan) and a bathroom with shower are accessed by a steep staircase. The villas are set in a garden with stunning views down towards Ithaki and Evreti Bay to enjoy the romantic sunset and to ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay. The upper villa can be booked by airbnb. After a 10 min walk groceries and tavernas can be accessed. In the harbor of Fiscardo „Tassia“ and „Irida“ are known for their traditional kefalonian kitchen. A little extra for guests are natural bath products and traditional/home-made products for breakfast. NOTE: The property is suitable to a limited extent for toddlers due to uneven ground, steps, stone floors and unfenced pool. Upon arrival enjoy your first shopping im Magganos or Fiskardo for essentials. Our property manager and his team will be happy to assist.
