Having our home in a peaceful location (East side of the St George Hill) far from the cities and even the village or the buzzling beach-life of the Balaton, ideally it is reccomended for guests who appreciate being alone and admiring the beauties of nature, enjoying the undisturbed countryside life with its comfort. In case you are willing to enjoy a peaceful retreat in a beautiful natural environment meanwile having easy access to culture, wine and gastronomy, you have found your place to be. We’re glad to say that our property is not a house designed for tourists, but a real home that will on one hand side make you feel as good as it only feels at home, the other hand side it will relax you like nothing else. It is our dream-came-true in a way that it reflects our ideas and our heartfelt handwork in every detail of the renovation works of the old press house. If you feel like eating fresh seasonal fruits taken right from the trees that give shade to the terrace facing the Csobánc with a ruined castle, have your breakfast prepared with view to the Balaton and Badacsony, enjoy the company of our deer neighbours when the sun sets, or have a refreshing shower literally under the apricot tree, this is your place. Grill tools and fire place is at your disposal and so are the various outdoor furnitures. The house has a fully equipped panoramic kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet, a small living-dining room and a bedroom with big terrace upstairs. We have not installed any Internet nor tv and other electronical things to provide a full recreation and cyber and stress-free zone for your holidays. Our guests receive a welcome bottle of wine from our own cellar and have a Nespresso coffee machine at disposal. Capacity of the house is limited to 1 double bed and 1 bed with extra pull-out bed, max for 4 persons, incl max 3 adults. Although the house - as a small jewel - inside is not too spacious, outside you have unlimited freedom the enjoy the terraces of St George all providing different vistas. Parking space is available. In the village you’ll find the best bakery of Hungary, on the hill itself you’ll bump into numerous excellent winemakers, some traditional and fine dining restaurants and bistros are awating you in Tapolca, Keszthely and the Káli Basin. We are just a short ride from Szigliget with its beach, castle and gorgeous icecream, in the other direction you’ll find the famous Liliomkert artisanal and organic market and many other natural and built beauties around. Tapolca is 6.7 km to the North, Szigliget is 9.8 km to the South.
