A beautiful, private Lodge overlooking a fishing lake on Caer Beris holiday park near the market town of Builth Wells. parking for 2 vehicles, sleeps 5, gas BBQ area, fire pit, picnic bench and parasol. We are dog friendly, surrounded by wildlife and picturesque scenery and walks. There is also fishing on River Wye in Builth Wells via a permit from the newsagents. If you are bigger family we also own 5f overlooking the fields, a short walk from 8f. 5f sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin. Open plan living room, dining and kitchen to entertain with the patio doors open onto the decking area. 3 cosy newly decorated bedrooms. 1 king bed, 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Each with their own space saving hanging for your clothes with a shoe rack below. Our lodge is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by wildlife with the sound of running water. Why not sit on our wooden bench overlooking a private site fishing lake. Day fishing permits can be purchased to do a spot of coarse fishing form the newsagents in the town, then walk for 2 minutes back to the lodge for a well deserved cuppa or something a little stronger maybe! We have a security night light above the front door so you can enjoy the warm evenings outside around the firepit and BBQ. Flowing through the holiday park is the River Irfon, which on low tide you can access via the large field at the bottom of the site to enjoy the pebbles areas with your dogs or children. A short walk through the site is the beautiful Caer Beris Manor, formerly owned by Lord Swansea offering afternoon tea (booked at least 24 hours before) and evening meals overlooking their gorgeous gardens. 5 minutes drive from Builth Wells and 20 minutes from the stunning Elan Valley Dams. Please be advised there is NO WIFI at our lodge, just peace and quiet, with 200 odd tv channels to choose from plus a DVD player with a big selection of DVD’s to enjoy if you can drag yourself inside that is. Surrounded by trees and hedges making it very private, with 2 small grassed area's with 1 large picnic table and parasol, 1 glass table, 2 chairs and 1 bench to enjoy the sunshine and summer evenings around the firepit and BBQ. We are always available for any questions via text or phone for an emergencies The trickling water from the fishing lake, birds singing in the tree's, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and hedgehogs are spotted all around the lodge. If you need a relaxing holiday, you'll love our lodge. A car is useful as the nearest shop is 2 miles away in the busy market town of Builth Wells (20 minutes walk). Rhayader - 20 minutes drive Llandrindod Wells - 10 minutes drive Brecon - 30 minutes drive There are local buses and the Heart of Wales Train Line that runs from Shrewsbury to Swansea. The site allows dogs but must be on a lead at all times. There is a strict 5mph on the whole of the site. The site does not allow commercial vehicles, horse boxes or trailers so unfortunately we can not take bookings if the stay is work related. Apologies
