The Lodge Annexe is situated in the pretty village of Kenton by the historic Powderham Castle, just 10 minutes off the M5 next to the beautiful River Exe which offers direct access to the popular River Exe Cycle Path and is close to many beaches along the coast. The fully equipped property is a lovely base for a couple, family or business traveller with a newly refurbished king bedroom, twin bedroom and shared ground floor shower room, open plan kitchen / diner / lounge & patio garden. The calm space has a private entrance and parking attached to our Victorian home and offers a newly finished patio garden with bbq and seating for 4 and a glass feature over the old well of the garden. It’s a perfect bolt hole to explore the surrounding villages, towns and beaches of Devon and is 30 mins from Dartmoor so well located. Private Parking on our large drive Our family home is next door and we are often around to help guests and recommend places to visit if needed. Kenton is a pretty village just 20 minutes from the city of Exeter. The well stocked farm shop, Powderham Castle, lovely village restaurant, Chinese takeaway and church are all on the doorstep. The pretty town of Topsham with its fantastic restaurants, interior and antique shops is 15 minutes drive as is the Cathedral city of Exeter Private parking is available on our drive and paddle boards etc can be stored in our garage. Trains run around the county to Starcross which is a 15 minute walk from the village and a regular bus service runs every 15 minutes to Exeter, Torquay and further afield. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away at Dawlish Warren, 25 mins at Exmouth & Sheldon / Teignmouth with South Hams beaches 45 minutes drive.
