Guest access is by an independent staircase located on the east side of the house we are avaible to chat with our guests For those who love outdoor sports and the mountains, a trekking trail starts from house in the middle of the woods. The Mottarone mountain is a 20-minute drive away. at one hour from Monte Rosa glacier, at one hour from the Vigezzina at one hour from Premia at one hour from the Swiss Alps. The area offers: golf courses, horse racing, skiing. two other lakes a few miles are the Maggiore and Mergozzo which is a nature reserve. We are 500 meters from the train station and the center of Pettenasco, 800 meters from the beaches. Aula Arcobaleno is an ancient and exclusive 1780 residence, close to the town but out of mass tourism, it is very important for us to preserve the ancient, curative and beneficial nature of the place which is located within a centuries-old forest among streams and wild herbs. The house has just been renovated and equipped with all comforts. The private park that surrounds the house has an area of 3 hectares and is entirely available to guests. The park contains many ancient fruit plants, a lavender field, a field of blueberries and medicinal herbs. You can relax and enjoy the untouched silence on our terrace in the woods. You will also have a solarium terrace, a lake view terrace, and a gazebo under which it is nice to drink an herbal tea or a coffee in the sun during the early hours of the morning You can book a sound meditation session in the trees of the forest. If you want, we will be happy to accompany you to show you the infinite variety of plants and wild herbs. You can try our honey and our essential oils. We also produce seasonal vegetables. The house is a 10 minute walk away from the beaches of Lake Orta. 5 minutes walk from the village, Supermarket, bars and restaurants. From the house there are 2 trekking routes in the woods: The first reaches Pratolungo, Monte Barro and Agrano; while the second passes near the torrent pescone up to the villages Armeno and Miasino. Here are the indications to reach us: Take Via Armeno to Pettenasco 28028 and pass under the railway viaduct; after about 50 meters you will find the street parking for cars. Take the red dirt road on the left that goes up through a forest; you will find our house (which is the only house ..) on the right after about 350mt. Reachable by AWD, 4WD or 2WD hi car via a dirt road in the woods. not recommended for low, very wide car and caravans, anyway ask before book.
