Beautiful Cosy Cottage in the Heart of Snowdonia!

Our traditional Welsh cottage in the heart of Blaenau Ffestiniog was lovingly built with stone floors & is full of character. With a warm, charming & quirky feel it is the perfect location to explore beautiful Snowdonia. You can enjoy stunning mountain views right from the windows or with a warm beverage on the bench in the front garden. The accommodation is fully equipped for both long or short stays with everything you need, just a few minutes walk from all local amenities and attractions The cottage has two bedrooms - the master with 1x double bed and the second bedroom with 2 x single beds. As well as a modern bathroom with both bath and shower. The beautiful Lounge/Dining area with Smart TV and cosy Electric Fire is the perfect place to spend time with loved ones. Curl up on the deep spacious corner sofa with a book or sit on the pine dining table and play one of our board games that we have left for you. The fully equipped Kitchen contains, an electric fan oven, gas hobs, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as, pots, pans and utensils for cooking up a storm, Relax on the swing chair with a cup of tea in the back patio area, just outside the kitchen door, and also make use of the locked ‘Bike Shed’ for guests. We will be available on Airbnb messages throughout your stay for any questions or queries you many have about the property. We have written up a ‘Welcome Book’ with information about the property in order to help make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible :) Blaenau Ffestiniog is simply stunning! Nestled in a valley, surrounded by mountains in the very heart of Snowdonia, our historic Welsh town has a plethora of café, restaurants and shops, as well as being located a stones throw from some our North Wales best attractions. The stunning Ffestiniog Railway stops in Blaenau, just a 3 minute walk from the property. It is an incredible railway journey through the breath-taking Snowdonia National Park on the oldest surviving railway company in the world! Zip World and Europe’s largest Zip zone is located right on the outskirts of Blaenau! Take the 1890 metre Zip line over the stunning quarry in an experience of a lifetime! With Porthmadog and the beach located just a 20 minute drive away Blaenau really is right at the centre of everything North Wales has to offer. Park Square itself is a clean, well looked after street of terraced stone cottages smack bang in the centre of the village. If you are looking for a holiday home close to Snowdonia’s main attractions and surrounded by beautiful views and walks throughout unspoilt landscapes on your doorstep then there is no better location than 13 Park Square! The Ffestiniog Steam Railway and Blaenau station is located 100 meters from the cottage, from here you can get trains direct through the national park in Llandudno. Blaenau bus station is also a 5 minute walk away, with buses heading all over the North Wales. If you are exploring Snowdonia by car then you will find Blaenau to be within easy reach of all corners of the National Park and beyond.
