La Coccinella on lake Lugano

La coccinella is a very nice apartment located in a historic house.The apartment consists of a spacious room with kitchen, dining table and sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. outdoor area with dining table and sunbathing area. Free parking just outside the garden entrance. The accommodation is on the ground floor of an old house located at the entrance of the village of Viconago. The location is ideal and allows you to have sun until late in the evening hours. The accommodation is small but spacious and offers everything needed for a comfortable holiday: - Coffee machine, - Hairdryer, - Bed linen, - Towels, - Rags for the kitchen, - Soap for dishes. The accommodation has a garden with dining table and lounge chairs. Guests have access to a private entrance from the garden to the apartment. My husband Maurizio and I live on the upper floor of the house and are available to advise guests on places to visit, the best restaurants in the area and everything to do between Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore. The village of Viconago is very quiet, ideal for those wishing to relax and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. Summer evenings are animated by the children playing in the pedestrian streets and the bar located in the square. Often there is music and the local people often organize feasts in the village. Viconago is situated in a strategic position: 20 minutes from Lugano, 50 minutes from Como, 20 minutes from Luino and Lake Maggiore, 1 hour from Milan, 20 minutes from Varese. Other nearby attractions: - Morcote (by boat from Ponte Tresa) - Hermitage of Santa Caterina (by car) - Lugano (by boat or train ( Ponte Tresa-Lugano by train: 20 minutes) - Borromeo Islands (by boat from Luino or car up to Laveno Mombello, then by ferry). - Villa Taranto (by boat from Luino or car up to Laveno Mombello, then by ferry). - Sunday: Cannobio Street Market (by boat from Luino). - Smoking is not allowed in the house or in the garden. - The apartment has no private parking, there are free public parking spaces right outside the garden entrance.
