Come reconnect with nature in this peaceful retreat filled with natural light & bohemian decor. Surrounded by aspen groves and old growth pines, your master suite has a private entrance, cozy fireplace, & luxurious hot tub. Spend your days reading in the hammock, watching a sunset on your private deck, & exploring local trails. This space is nestled in the foothills allowing you to explore Denver, see a concert at the epic Red Rocks, (22 min) or find an adventure in the mountains. We're excited to share our little mountain sanctuary with you and hope that it fills you with joy, peace, and relaxation. Aspen groves and 300 year old pine trees tower over our entire property making it the perfect place to slow down and be present. In the summer, you can find wild flowers and listen to the birds chirping. Transitioning to fall, the aspens transform into a magical, golden color. Winter ushers in a winter wonderland as the pines are covered in heavy snow. Finally, spring arrives with the peaceful sounds of the snowmelt stream flowing through the property. Your private, master suite has vaulted ceilings and is flooded with natural light blurring the lines between inside and outside. Catch up on rest on the queen size, Purple mattress and by soaking in the luxurious hot tub. The decor is globally inspired from the Moroccan rug to the Balinese lamps and the Ethiopian textile. Your en suite bathroom was designed to give you a Zen, spa-like experience with Raw Sugar products and organic linens. Unfortunately, the oversized bath tub uses too much water and puts our well/entire home at risk of running out of water. We ask that you please use the shower for bathing and soak in the outdoor hot tub. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea/pour-over kettle, dishes, silverware, and even a mixology set for those evenings spent around the fire. To get you started, we provide coffee, tea, 2 frozen breakfast burritos, 2 fizzy waters, and 2 craft beers. There is a grocery store and quite a few local restaurants just a 3 minute drive up the road in Aspen Park. With cooler weather, you have the option of indoor gas fireplace, outdoor gas fireplace, or a relaxing soak in the 7 person hot tub. The hot tub is new and includes 61 jets, an oversized lounger, and a Volcano floor jet for foot massage. It is the perfect end to a day spent hiking, skiing, or exploring Denver. The hot tub is a shared space with either my family or other guests staying in our home. Quiet hours start at 8pm since we have a toddler. We do our best to minimize noise, but you will likely hear us some as the Prana Suite is attached to the main house. There are 2 doors with sound dampening pads separating the Prana Suite from the main house to give you privacy and security. Please be sure to read the House Rules for more information before you book. There are multiple macramé swings and a hammock for you to unwind and reconnect with nature. Feel free to use the barbecue grill around the back of the house or check out some of our local restaurants in Conifer, Evergreen, or downtown Morrison. *We live at 8,000 feet in the foothills of the Rockies and we receive quite a lot of snow (Nov-May). We recommend AWD/4WD and good tires to safely access our house if there is snow. We do not have a truck to pull you out if you get stuck, so we ask you keep a close eye on the weather and drive carefully. For those that have an additional guest or two, we are happy to provide a full-size air mattress for an additional charge per guest. We understand there's often last minute plans where someone else wants to join the concert or spontaneous trip. Please keep in mind it will be tight sleeping arrangements, but there is plenty of room outside to enjoy together. There are also times where we rent out our main house in addition to the Prana Suite. If you have a large group, feel free to reach out about this possibility and look at our other listing. We're located 30 minutes West of Denver in the foothills just 90 seconds off of 285. There are only a handful of houses on our road, many of which were part of the original Granzella homestead. The entire neighborhood is surrounded by old growth pines and aspen groves. Our neighbors are friendly, but they enjoy their privacy and take their property lines very seriously. Please be respectful and be sure to stay on our 1 acre property. Let us know if you have questions. There is not public transportation available in our neighborhood, but Meyer Ranch Trailhead is within walking distance. Uber/Lyft is quite limited and expensive, so we recommend renting a car. Parking is free and available for you under the white shade cover. We rent a Tesla Model Y on Turo if you're interested in renting that and using our EV charger. In the winter, Colorado law requires either 4WD, AWD, or snow chains. We receive a lot of snow (Nov-May) and you'll definitely need 4WD and good tires. We do not have a truck to pull you out if you get stuck, so we ask you keep a close eye on the weather and drive carefully.
