Little Cabin in the Woods

Our Little Cabin is a cosy place where you can feel comfortable (bathroom with toilet, coffee machine, wifi, Bose BT-speaker, outdoor chairs) in a tiny while romantic and enlightened space. It has however no kitchen. This "childhood dream come true" borders the forest yet puts you 15 to 30 minutes by bus from the city centre, Kirchberg or the train station. It makes the perfect starting point for visiting our beautiful city or country! Public Transport is free in Luxembourg! This wooden cabin will be your tiny home! It includes a bedroom, a modern bathroom with shower and toilet, a porch, a coffee machine and a Bose BT-speaker, ... more or less everything you need to spend a few unforgettable days at a 15 minutes distance from the city centre. Since the space is very small (it's a cabin), the real bed doubles to sleep 2 people very comfortably and closes up again in the morning to become a warmly sofa! The 5 windows (including the entrance door) are like a huge opening on the garden and the beautiful Nature, allowing a maximum of light to enter during the day. The cabin is totally independent from our home, but doesn't include a kitchen, fridge or any possibility to store or prepare food. An espresso coffee machine with coffee and even teas is provided. This is the nearest you'll ever go to your teenage dream of spending a night or more in a treehouse or a garden shed ... with a modern home's essentials! This is Your place! However, the cabin is right next to our house, in case you need some personal advice or anything else …. We live and work in the house next to the cabin, and might have a couple more guests/friends staying with us. We're there to help you with anything, or answer any question about us, the house, Luxembourg or our beautiful country. Muhlenbach is usually a very calm neighbourhood, where the biggest "noise" is produced by birds in the nearby forest. Very few cars are driving down our road, as it is a dead end. Children might be playing on the street in the summer! Ideal location if you work in town and like to spend some time out in the woods walking or running. Public Transport is free in the whole country! However, you can surely discover the city walking. City Center is about 30’ away by foot. Ask us to have the scenic route explained before setting off for a beautiful day. The bus line 21 is located at a 6 minutes walking distance (Bus stop “Siwemuergen") and takes you every 15 minutes (30’ on Sundays) to the city centre (“Royal-Hamilius” 11’), via the Stäreplaz where you can hop on the tram and quickly get to the Station or the Kirchberg Business and European District. You can also walk to the Pfaffenthal Railways Station (30’), take the train to any place in the country or the funicular up to the Plateau level and there hop on the tram. We also have a Vel’Oh e-bike station at a 6’ walk down the road, where you can easily rent a bike to move around town. If you're by car, you can park it in our private and enclosed driveway. Since we have an electric car, we have a 3-phase charging point available for your EV as well (we cannot guarantee compatibility). We do have two cats, Kniddel & Knetsch, and one playful dog, Linc, who are all over the house and the world, and the first thing they'll want to do, is come and see your's! If you 'd like some privacy, please make sure to close your door, so that these cute little creatures don't invade your space in just the time of a glimpse!
