Oceanfront: The Boathouse

Originally an early 20th century boathouse, now a cozy oceanfront cottage. It is located in the village of Prainha de Baixo, a small village on the island of Pico. The cottage consists of a living/dining/kitchen space (with a brand new sofa bed) and a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The cottage sleeps up to 4 adults and 1 infant/toddler in a cot. Cycle or walk to the natural swimming pool or the black sand beach. There is also access to the sea by a staircase in the jetty of the small port, approximately 100 meters from the cottage. The local market is a five-minute walk away. Parking is available. There is a bus stop in the center of of the village (a 10-minute walk). In order to protect the local nocturnal species of birds, we ask that you not leave any outside lights on overnight. Also, smoking is not permitted inside The Boathouse.
