With an enviable waterfront location in the Senglea peninsula, the light-filled Senglea House apartments have magnificent views across the harbour to the honeyed-stone bastion of Fort St Angelo, the original headquarters of the Knights of Malta. There is much to explore on foot in Senglea alone, with its bustling restaurants, gently chugging boats and rocks ideal for jumping off for a morning swim below the fort. The apartments are also perfectly located for anyone wanting to explore the baroque architecture and charming streets of Malta’s capital Valetta – a UNESCO world heritage site – as guests can quickly cross the harbour by hailing a ‘Luzzu’ - a traditional Maltese boat, easily identified by its cheerful, bright colours and pair of good luck eyes. The city of Valletta is easily accessible from the apparentments. The quickest and most romantic way to reach the city is by boat. Either by a five minute ferry ride, or one of the small Disa taxi’s boats that cross the harbour all day.
