Four-poster bedroom with ensuite

One of two listings. Very convenient for all central Scotland .. 5 minute walk from Falkirk town centre and 2 minute walk to Falkirk High station; trains every 15 minutes to Edinburgh/Glasgow (20mins to each) also bus from outside house to the Falkirk Wheel/Kelpies. We are popular with fans of Harry Potter, Outlander and Braveheart and walkers on the John Muir Way. Free parking If combined with other listing we can accommodate 4 people when both listings are available. This is an old late Victorian semi-villa with lots of original features. This room has a king size four-poster bed and its own ensuite facilities. We do not have extra beds to put into the room and, because of the stairs, our house is not particularly suitable for children or wheelchairs. Our accommodation is flexible. We have another double ensuite room - you can have your choice of rooms if they are both free. Guests can access other areas of the house and garden by arrangement on arrival. Guests can be as private as they want but are very welcome to join us if they wish. We know Scotland and the local area very well and will happily help you with your plans. We are very lucky to live in a residential area close to the town centre where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. We are also very near the Union Canal, you can walk to the Falkirk Wheel in about 45minutes along the towpath. Callander Estate is close by where there are lots of lovely walks. Bicycles can be hired nearby so you can explore the forest or canal network. Falkirk Grahamston station (10minutes walk away) provides trains to Stirling and Inverness to the north or London Kings X to the south. Bike hire is available nearby to explore the forest and canal network if you wish. There is a welcome sheet which explains everything in your room but if you are not sure of anything just ask.
