The cottage is situated at the top of a quaint little street that leads down towards the train station and beach. Conveniently located on the High Street, within 200 yards of the castle and close to all village shops, bistros and restaurants. An ideal base to explore Harlech and the stunning locality. Combining charming features with modern amenities, this cottage is an ideal base to explore Harlech and the surrounding area. A modern, fully equipped kitchen provides all you will need to cater for yourselves while you're on holiday. There is a cosy lounge with log burner and television for quiet evenings in, or it's the ideal base to explore the town and the stunning scenery that surrounds it. Bedroom 1 (double) is on the first floor with views over the rooftops to the beach. Bedroom 2 is also on the first floor with two singles. One bed has the option to open into a king, providing space for up to 3 people in this room. With a world heritage site castle, internationally renowned Royal St David's golf course and lately the steepest street in the world, Harlech is a fabulous getaway in North Wales. And that's all before you head down to the golden expanse of sands at the stunning Harlech beach. The High Street boasts some fantastic independent shops and a wealth of places to eat, from restaurants to tea rooms. The cottage is just a ten minute walk from the train station and there are good road links from the A55 and the A5. There are plenty of countryside walks and the North Wales Coastal Path in the area. There is limited on-street parking behind and opposite the cottage. Otherwise there is a free car park less than 2 minutes walk away from the house. There is room outside to unload.
