Country Mile Escape, located in the Gold Coast Hinterland, offer luxury boutique accommodation. “The Aerial” named after the logging of flying fox valley of our pioneering history. “The Aerial”, is a generous two bedroom studio, with a covered veranda that overlooks the rolling hills of the property. The studio is nestled in amongst the trees to create your own pocket of privacy. Enjoy a walk and see what shares our property As you will appreciate staying in this lovely cabin, we take pride in providing a relaxing place for you to stay. For us to continue to provide this place to stay please note, nighty rates for this cabin are based on each room. Our base nightly rate is up to 2 guests for one bedroom. Second bedroom is available for 3 or more guests. If you wish to book for only 2 guests but use both rooms, the higher nightly rate will apply. If this applies to your booking please let us know in your request so we can prepare the second room. The Aerial is positioned on a 70 acre property in the Scenic Rim. The studio will provide that relaxing retreat for you to enjoy as a couple or a family. Wake up to the peace and quiet of country living, while you enjoy your breakfast on the veranda over looking the hills. Enjoy the stunning vista from your soaking bath before settling beside the fire. A weekend away that will be one to remember. Kitchenette: The Kitchenette is fully equipped with a gas store, microwave, coffee (pod) machine. BBQ on the veranda. Living Room: Living Room flows from the kitchen area to a loving sitting area with a fireplace to keep you warm on a winters night. Main Bedroom: Main Bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite , TV and DVD player in the room. Second Bedroom: Has a King size bed, (that can be split/converted to make two king size singles). PLEASE advise us, on booking how you would like the configuration of the beds. En-suite, TV and DVD player Covered veranda with outdoor setting and a Fire- pit. When you turn onto Little Flying Fox Road, drive 630 metres and on the left hand-side of the road you will see a concrete driveway with a black Milk Can mailbox. Do not let the GPS tell you that the entrance is further on. When you drive up the concrete drive, you will come to a flat area and on the left-hand side of the driveway. You will see a signpost with the names of the studios. • Staying at The Aerial? Take the driveway on the left. • Staying at The Shay? Take the driveway to the right. It will take one hour to get to the Gold Coast Airport It will take one and a half hours to get to Brisbane Airport (depending on the traffic) We encourage you to walk around the property to discover what also lives and shares the space within Country Mile Escape. When you reach a barbed wire fence, you have reached our boundary. Please stay inside the property boundary! Canungra is nestled in the middle of the four major tourist destinations, and is the gateway to the Gold Coast Hinterland, Mount Tamborine, Lamington National Park and Springbrook. You will discover an unlocked world of hidden beauty, walking trails, cascading waterfalls and breath taking lookouts that reveal the most extensive subtropical rainforest in the world. The township of Canungra, is 15 minutes from Country Mile Escape, it will surprise and delight you with selection of retail shops and eateries. There are several restaurants and bars to eat at. There are several wineries in the area which will take you between 25 minutes to 40 minutes to get to from us. There is no public transport in the area. It is 55 minutes to the Gold Coast Airport. One and half hours to Brisbane Airport. As we have beautiful polished wood floors, we request that guests do not wear footwear in the Studio.
