With two queen bedroom's the self contained Barn is suitable for couples or family's looking for a quiet escape in the countryside. The ground floor is fully accessible for wheelchairs, providing easy access to Bathroom, Queen Bedroom, Kitchen, Dining + Living areas. The second queen bedroom is on the mezzanine level and is accessed by a spiral staircase. The bath is also on the upper level. We have 2 night Stay minimum across all of our listings. Darker square - Booked Located on the outskirts of the charming township of Meeniyan, the property was originally a small dairy farm, and is part of a larger development re-purposing disused farm buildings into modern places to stay. The Barn has been designed and hand crafted by local makers to provide you with a unique accommodation experience, complete with Japanese inspired wood + steel Bath. It also includes many other hand crafted elements that have been designed and made especially for the space. A full kitchen and basic larder are there for your use, including welcoming supply of local staples. We also have resident Hens on the property who provide fresh daily eggs. The Barn has its own Garage, plus extra parking. Approx 1km walking distance into town. Your hosts live close by, and are glad to assist with any local information or other required assistance. Meeniyan is a quintessential country village with popular and well know eateries, as well as a thriving arts and music culture. Only 30mins to the gate of the spectacular must see Wilson’s Promontory National Park. An hour into Tidal River. Within 20mins of many swimming and surf beaches. Also many opportunities to explore the local countryside by bicycles or foot, via the Great Southern Rail Trail, or explore the area further by Car. There is a VLine bus service to Meeniyan that leaves from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne. Relaxed Linen bedding + bath towels provided. Linen bath robes + slippers also provided for your stay. The Barn has a split system, heated floor and wood fire. Open fires, are to be operated at user's responsibility + require Adult supervision at all times. Sliding doors on the property are very big and heavy, they are to be operated at user's responsibility + require Adult supervision at all times. The Barn sits adjacent to our other properties the Cabin + the Dairy. The development has been designed with private outlooks and vista's in mind.
