An old stone and render cottage dating from around 1840 although part of it is much older. The farmhouse has 3 good sized bedrooms with a nice private garden. There are two master bedrooms both with King sized beds. One of the master bedrooms has its own en-suite. The property has been recently upgraded and is fitted out to a very high standard. The property is 8 miles from the Cotswold village of Broadway and 20 miles from Stratford upon Avon. We have done our best to ensure that every possible item you need while staying, is provided. If we don't have it, let us know and we will endeavour to add it for your next visit The cottage is in a fantastic location for visiting all the Cotswold villages (8 miles from Broadway) It is also handy for visits to Stratford upon Avon as we are located only 20 minutes drive from Shakespeare's birthplace. There is a local public house (walking distance) called the Fleece inn which won Telegraph pub of the year 2019, it is a National Trust property and has so much charm and good beer and food. What's not to like! The 3 bedroom cottage is detached and has two dedicated parking spaces, it has a walled garden and the gardens and patio are completely private. There are locks on the gates and doors to ensure children and pets are safe. If you bring a dog, we do request that you limit access to downstairs. We live next door to the property so we are often on call if needed, although we do our best to ensure guests have their own privacy. Our jewel in the crown is the local pub called the Fleece inn which is a National Trust Pub and is only a half a mile walk. Great food great beer and a fantastic atmosphere, especially in the autumn/winter when the fires are going. Highly recommended! There is a bus route stop, just outside the cottage but we recommend a car or taxis for added flexibility. The cottage is on a busy road but none of the doors are onto the road, there are tall walls which surround the property and double glazing to windows so the noise is not excessive.
