Total privacy is what most guests prefer or your hosts are available if you need any assistance. Your hosts are totally separate to you. The Royal National Park is on your doorstep along with amazing walks, Figure of 8 Pools & Otford to Bundeena Coastal Walk! We are a 5 minute walk to Otford Station, Hang gliding, horse riding, Otford Pantry & a 5 minute drive to Stanwell Park, Helensburgh, cafe's, restaurants, Coles Supermarket. A 15 min walk to Bald Hill. Headlands Hotel, The Imperial Hotel & Coledale RSL only a 15 min drive. A 5 minute drive to the Sea Cliff Bridge (a stunning walk)! 30 minute drive to Wollongong. Your view from our back deck is serene! Beautiful 30 min drive to Wollongong. A car is recommended as there are no shops in Otford (expect the Otford Pantry weekends only). With prior notice we may be able to offer you a lift from Helensburgh Station to Otford Cottage (Too far to walk as Helensburgh Station is a long way from the town). Helensburgh is only a 5 minute drive from the Cottage where there a several cafe's, bottle shops & a Coles Supermarket. Otford Station is only a 5 minute walk which will take you north to the City or south to Stanwell Park, Coledale & Thirroul, Wollongong & beyond! It is an easy walk to the Otford Pantry & Bald Hill (hangliding) from Otford Cottage. There are numerous walks from Otford Cottage include Otford to Bundeena Coastal Walk, Figure of 8 Pools or the Otford Loop - shorter walk. The Cottage has been renovated and is double brick, semi-detached, Heritage listed built in the 1890's for the engineers building the New South coast railway line with a beautiful contemporary bathroom. Being double brick it is warm in winter & cool in summer also blocking most outside sounds.
