Charm and authenticity in Crazannes

We are pleased to welcome you in our 19th century farmhouse, nestled in the countryside, just outside of the historical village of Crazannes, in the department of Charente Maritime (Nouvelle Aquitaine) We have one bedroom with an original wood frame and local stone walls that embody the local tradition. The bedroom has an "en suite" bathroom with a bathtub, a sink and a separate WC. We are very much forward looking to greeting you in person The bedroom provides a Wifi connection, a sofa and a desk for reading and relaxing, as well as magazines, leaflets, and books about the region. In the summertime, we serve a continental breakfast in our lovely garden with direct views onto the countryside and the Charente Valley. In winter, breakfast is served in our living room next to the cozy fireplace. You will have access to the bedrooms, the living room, and the terrasse and garden in the summer. It will be our pleasure to assist you with travel advice and tips about nearby places of interest, such as the various castles and historical landmarks easily reachable from our home. The house is surrounded by the lovely countryside, the Charente River and historical places like several castles (Crazannes, Panloy and La Roche Courbon), the roman amphitheater of Saintes, churches in romanesque architectural style and the famous "Crazannes stone" famous for its white color. We are located less than an hour's drive from the Atlantic Ocean and its beach towns (Royan, Saint-Palais, Fouras), La Rochelle, its harbour and its famed aquarium, Cognac and its vineyards, Saintes and its rich roman architecture.
