Enchanting Rustico in Quiet Surroundings (Blenio)

The Rustico „La Firagna“ is a typical converted former byre. It is located in a quiet position at the edge of the chestnut forest. La Firagna is accessible only on foot; about 4 minutes walk from the parking lot in Motto Blenio. Around the Rustico there is a large park with two ponds, plants and flowers. At the entrance, a stone terrace with a small meadow, a portico and a barbecue are at your disposal. Discover the typical idyllic landscape of Ticino with its vineyards and great "Grotti". Surrounded by nature and yet very central: Only 10 minutes from the motorway exit of Biasca, the sunny Valle del Sole is easy to reach. Beautiful paths are easy to find and the region offers many hiking and excursions. You can also enjoy the "dolce far niente" on the banks of the river “Brenno”. La Firagna consists of 3 rooms: kitchen, living room and a bedroom with exit to the garden. At the main entrance there is the kitchen with the fireplace and the bathroom. With an internal wooden staircase you can reach the second floor, where there are the living room and the bedroom. The living room is furnished with a sofa, an armchair and the TV. In the living room there are two further sleeping options. Through the former byre door, you can accede to the bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed, TV and a sofa bed.
