Beautifully refurbished rural bungalow in mature walled garden beside Grade I listed Medieval Lodging Range and Grade II listed Manor House. Master bedroom (king-size bed), second bedroom (small double bed), sofa bed, travel cot, two folding kids' beds. Stunning log burning stove in living room. Parking on site for 2-3 vehicles. No pets, please. We loved living in this annexe before moving next door. We've had it all completely refurbished and it looks great. It's got a really romantic, cosy feel (especially with the log stove lit) and our children loved it too. Our second youngest used to like roller skating around on the living room's bamboo floor! We don't provide you with a TV! One of our historic buildings is undergoing an exciting restoration project in conjunction with Historic England. If you would like an up close look at our building progress we are happy to oblige you with a tour. You'll have access to the annexe, the walled garden plus parking for 2-3 cars. Parking is situated approx 20m from the Annexe garden. We are generally there to help you carry your bags though! We'll be around if you need anything while you're here, all you have to do is ask! Breakfast provisions, including freshly laid eggs, provided (assuming our chickens are laying). One basket of logs and kindling provided free (additional cost for more). Our buildings have historic links to the courts of Henry VII and Henry VIII. Come along and we'll be happy to explain the history and give you a tour of the listed buildings which are part of an ongoing restoration project in conjunction with Historic England (formerly English Heritage). Having a car while you're here is ideal as that makes trips to Bath, Stonehenge etc easy. You could, however, get a taxi here from either Trowbridge or Westbury stations. There is room for two extra folding beds in the master bedroom (ask ahead if you'd like these). We can also provide cot(s), high chair(s) and a basket of some of our favourite toys and books. Please read my Additional Rules section carefully (listed under house rules) as regards late arrival times (after 10pm). Total number of beds, therefore, is: sofa bed in living room, small double bed in small bedroom, king-size bed in large bedroom, two folding single beds in large bedroom (suitable for children or small teen/adult) and travel cot .
