My spacious 2 bed, 2 bathroom semi detached house in the lovely fishing village of Broughty Ferry is situated within 20 minutes walk to the beach & restaurants. Easy access to Dundee, Carnoustie and Arbroath by car, bus or train. It is close to Golf Courses in Carnoustie, Monifieth and Dundee. The house is well finished and you will have use of the kitchen (shared), Dining/Lounge (shared) and bathroom (private). Gas central heating throughout. An allocated parking space provided. So anything vegi or fish is good with me :-) Please Note Room Layout: It is currently 2 single beds but can be easily converted into a double bed. DIY - self service breakfast available each morning and use of cooking facilities at any time. Broughty Ferry is in the ideal location for access to the following, to name a few: - The famous River Tay - Dundee Green Circular Route, 27 miles. Secure bike storage is available. - Sustrans Cycle Route 1 - Easy access over the water to Fife - The new V&A museum being built in Dundee. - Angus Glens are close by with plenty of stunning walks. All of which can be found on the Walking Highlands webpage. - A good choice of bars, restaurants and shops (20 minute walk from BnB or 5minute drive) - Broughty Ferry Beach (keep your eyes peeled for Dolphins) - Supermarket (10minutes Walk from BnB) 2 minute drive. The house is situated on the bus route to Gardyne College, Dundee City Centre, Ninewells Hospital Carnoustie and Arbroath. Broughty Ferry train station is a 20 minute walk away and a 5 minute drive. Cycling guests: easy stop over for Cycle Route 1. Secure bike storage space provided. Recommended Busses: - No. 39 Bus to Seagate Bus Station / Dundee City Centre - takes 15minutes. *many more buses available for other routes. Just ask. ROOM LAYOUT Room layout can be twin beds or easily converted into a double bed. CYCLING Cycling guests: easy stop over for Cycle Route 1. Secure bike storage space provided. TRANSPORT: Bus Service to/from Dundee: there are many busses that pass the house, but by far the quickest service is the number 5 (Goes to ninewells hospital via the city centre) or 73 (to the city centre) please note, these buses are quickest but do involve a 5/10 minute walk from the house to Strathern Road. Or, there is the number 39 from outside the house. Takes a little longer than the 5 & 73. At night time. A good bus to get back from the city centre is the 10a.
