Beautiful Arts & Crafts family home in Dartmoor National Park, with Aga, open fire, verandah, large gardens, lake and 17 acres of woodland. A ten minute walk or ride along our lane up on to the open moor to Kestor and beyond. Wonderful horse riding country - field available for up to two horses and experienced riding guide on horseback available on request. (Horses & guide priced separately - please enquire.) You will feel like you have escaped the rest of the world here. Magical. There is a beautiful veranda which can be used all year round for dining or relaxing. There is also a wonderful balcony off the master bedroom which looks out over the gardens. The whole house and whole garden/woods. I'm always available on the end of the phone or email. You definitely need a car here. Horse riding - If you'd like to bring your horse/horses, we have field space for up to 2 guest horses. We also use a a wonderful, experienced riding guide who can take you out on the moor for 1/2 day or full day pub or picnic rides. Hay & feed available. Please enquire for pricing. There are 3 resident cats, 2 goats and free-ranging chickens at the property. All the animals will be looked after by a visiting house-keeper but you can opt to feed them if you like.
