Cordes House is surrounded by the Bay of Shoals Wine's Vineyards, Olive Grove, Cellar Door and Farm. It has magnificent sea views and is only 5 minutes from the main town of Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. A 3 Bedroom single story property with a large deck, ideal for BBQs and outdoor entertaining. There is a combustion heater plus reverse cycle heating for the colder months. Ceiling fans and an air conditioner to ensure a comfortable stay in summer. Also a carport for one car and ample parking close to the house. The house is 1.8kms from the centre of Kingscote which is Kangaroo Island's largest town. Just a 5 minute walk down the road is the boat ramp, fishing spots and many pelicans and other bird species. The staff at the Cellar door are available to assist with any inquiries. The Cellar Door is a short walk away and is open from 11am to 5pm every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day. In Kingscote there is a Foodland supermarket, Bank SA, ANZ Bank, Post office, chemist, hospital, pubs, restaurants and cafes. The best way to get around the Kangaroo Island is by car or coach as there is not a established public transport network. However there is a large variety of tours that can be booked. Travel to Kangaroo Island is either by Ferry (Sealink) from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw or fly (Rex) from Adelaide to Kingscote. Penneshaw is a 45 minute drive from the property and the airport is 10 minutes.
