Situated in a private courtyard, Tŷ Twt is a tastefully converted, cosy barn in the heart of Llangennith village. From the living room there’s a wonderful view of Rhossili Downs and the beach is a delightful 20 minute off road walk away. The bustling King’s Head pub is a 200m walk and serves great food in a friendly atmosphere. The Britannia inn offers fine dining and is a 10 minute drive away. The King Arthur pub in Reynoldston serves wonderful food on the edge of a picturesque village green. Spacious, high quality accommodation with own garden. You also have a private patio with gazebo for cozy evenings round the fire pit table. Kate and Ceri live in the barn opposite and are on hand for help and advice on where to walk, surf, cycle, shop and eat. Chat to us in English or Welsh...we’ll give French a go if required! One mile away, Llangennith beach is a 3 mile stretch of golden sand, popular for surfing, walking, swimming and horse riding. At the south end of the bay is award winning Rhossili and the spectacular Worms head with its colonies of seals, sea birds and common dolphins. Also a mile away is Broughton bay, a popular sandy beach which leads to the wild and beautiful Whitford point. You can easily walk to the local beaches and pubs. There is an hourly bus service for Swansea, Mumbles and the south Gower beaches. As guests, the first full gas bottle for the fire pit table is free of charge - refills can be bought or provided by us at cost. We have a two night minimum stay requirement except in high season when it is a 5 day minimum.
