Traditional French Farmhouse with 4 meter pool

Our NEWLY RENOVATED farmhouse is over 300 years old and has all you need for a countryside escape. With limestone walls, original beams, charm and character, as well as all modern amenities. New for 2019 will be the addition of a 4 meter diameter pool for the sole use of our farmhouse visitors. We have lived in La Fortinerie since December 2017 and renovated the house and gardens over the last 12 months. We live in the house next door to the main farmhouse so will be on hand if you need anything. We have our own private space and gardens so can also leave you in peace and tranquility. The master bedroom is renovated to a high standard with exposed oak beams, upcycled rustic french furniture and double bed. The bathroom leads off the master bedroom and has toilet, over bath shower and sink with 24hr hot water. The second bedroom is just across from the master and has 2 single beds perfect for families, an additional single bed can be added if needed. A secret bathroom leads off the second bedroom and has a toilet, shower and sink. Downstairs, the salon/living room is decorated to be peaceful and serene, but also has a TV with UK FreeView satellite, a traditional log burner and comfortable sofa. In the dining room there is another wood burning stove and a table which seats 6. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher, as well as microwave, toaster and other small appliances. The farmhouse is set within a campsite grounds and woodland with beautiful gardens, the garden to the farmhouse is totally private and for the sole use of the house visitors and has a pool and BBQ. You have access to all facilities in the entire farmhouse. A private garden and driveway. You are welcome to use all the facilities on the campsite. The site also houses 5 camping spaces for motorhomes or campers, a luxury glamping safari tent with fully-fitted kitchen and a unique bell tent. View our other adverts if you wish to book these. We are nestled in Foret de Monnaie in the Loire Valley. The picturesque town of Saumur is a 30 minute drive and the beautiful villages of Mouliherne and Vernantes are within about 5-10 minutes drive. A car would be ideal. We also have bikes available to rent on site. Bookings must be for a minimum of 1 week with check in and check out on SATURDAYS ONLY.
