Coldfield Vacation House

A modernised country house with wide range of amenities located right next to the pittoresque town of Duga Resa on the beautiful emerald river Mrežnica. The house is located 500 m from the centre of town with all the stores, caffes, restaurants and yet the road it is on doesn't get high traffic. The Mrežnica river is the focal point of this region with many beaches, bars, waterfalls and offers fishing, kayaking, canoeing and rafting among other interests. The house has all the modern amenities (cable TV, wifi, AC) but it is located in a peaceful area so you can kick back and relax in the nature. Some of the neighbours still hold cattle and poultry so you will get a unique farm vibe from the neighbourhood, yet not too overwhelming. All rooms are available to our guests apart from 1 room in the basement which is used for storing tools for maintaing the grounds and 3 smaller unfurbished lofts on the upper floor. We meet our guests to hand them over the keys and show them around the house. However, if it's a last minute reservation or a very late check-in we also have a key safe with a number combination by the doors so guests can take the keys themselves even if they arrive in the middle of the night. Our house is located on a road leading from Duga Resa town to Karlovac. It is very close to the centre of Duga Resa with its shops, restaurants, etc, yet the road it is on doesn't get high traffic. All the houses in the neighbourhood are country houses with big plots which gives you a lot of privacy. The house offers up to 4 free parking spaces on the grounds behind the fence. The small town of Duga Resa has a train station connecting it with the rest of Croatia as well as a bus service going to Karlovac and Belavići.
