History abounds in The Old Mill Cottage. Originally built in around 1700, it was part of a silk mill and oozes period features, with stone mullion windows and wooden beams. Old Mill Cottage can sleep up to four guests, this country bolthole has been finished to a high standard with a warm and inviting interior and an array of modern facilities including Superfast WiFi, TV and a well-equipped kitchen. There is designated outdoor seating area and off-street parking on the shared driveway. This sunny, south facing accommodation comprises of a romantic double bedroom with Woodburner (for cosy Winter evenings), lounge with sofa bed and TV, kitchen with everything you need for a short stay. (An induction hob, a microwave oven/grill, and a washer-dryer not forgetting the all-important fridge. ) For evenings meals in, you can sit around the table in the dining hall and listen to your music connected to the vintage HiFi amplifier or if the weather is nice, sit on the sunny private patio. As we are remote, transport is essential (bike or car), however, there is a daily bus to Stroud (route 8B) or you can take a 15-minute taxi ride.
