Arundel Cottage… a retreat with stunning views
Located on Jenolan Caves Road, near Hartley, less than two hours from Sydney, Arundel Cottage sits on a hilltop overlooking the picturesque Lowther Valley. With panoramic views of the Mountains. • comfort and contemporary finishes • two king bedrooms, the kings can be separated into two split kings • open plan living, a spacious bathroom, generous outdoor entertaining and BBQ area • fully equiped to make your get away as easy and trouble free as possible • WiFi Hosted by Kerri and Larry Larry and I bought our property, more than 25 years ago. The land had originally been part of a larger property, known as the Braes, which is Scottish for steep banks and hillsides, which perfectly describes the terrain and panoramic views over the Lowther Valley. Over that time we have built our home, raised our children, developed the property with roads, fencing, mass plantings of trees, gardens, power, water and equestrian facilities. Recently we built Arundel Cottage and sighted it to take advantage of the views of the Blue Mountains, Mt Bindo and the Great Dividing Range, and of course the beautiful valley below. We hope that you enjoy our property and location as much as we do, and that you find comfort and peace at Arundel. Arundel Cottage is ideally situated to explore the best of the Upper Blue Mountains and the Central Tablelands. Jenolan Caves and Oberon are only 35 minutes away, with Mayfield Gardens and Bathurst less than an hour, and Orange, Mudgee and Sofala are within a two hour drive. Mt Victoria is only 20 minutes away and the Megalong Valley and Katoomba about 45 minutes • Mayfield Gardens– Oberon • Jenolan Caves • Kanangra Walls * Hartley Historic Village • Talisman Gallery Hartley * High Country Trail Rides –Oberon • Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens • Mt Wilson * Abercrombie House - Bathurst • Fossil and Mineral Museum - Bathurst • Small Arms Museum Lithgow • Secret Creek Sanctuary - Lithgow • Esbanks House - Lithgow • Glow Worm Caves • Mt Vic Flicks • Hydro Majestic - Medlow Bath • Blue Mountains Ancestral Pathways We are here if you need us, but your privacy is important to us… so we'll only be seen working around the farm or if you ask for assistance.
