Family gite with heated pool in the vineyards

Located in the Charente, in the heart of the cognac producing vines. Gite de la Chouette is a 4 bedroom house with private entrances. It has an open plan sitting room dining area, kitchen, and 4 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The gite has long range views over the vines of the Grand Champagne. The gite is separate to the main house and has its own entrances and enjoys some privacy. The rooms are light and bright with lovely views. Guests have full use of the main courtyard, gardens and unheated salt water pool. The sitting room has two sofas , TV with french and UK channels, and the property has wifi, although as this is rural France, the internet speed is not fast! The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, separate hob, refrigerator, lots of utensils, toaster and kettle. The pool is not shared, and is for your own use. As can be seen from the pictures, the property is located in open countryside and surrounded by vineyards. Guests are welcome to use the grounds and courtyard, which contains patios and seating areas as well as the pool. There is plenty of free parking. The gite is in the grounds of the main house, and we are usually around in the Summer. If we are not at home, our representative will be available to help with any issues. Servolle is located close to the village of Bouteville. The nearest shops (including supermarkets) and restaurants are located in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, which is around an 8 minute drive away. Jarnac is 15 mins, Cognac 30 mins, Angouleme 30 mins, Royan on the coast is about 1hr 15m as is Bordeaux. A car is really essential to get around and make the most of the area. Well behaved pets are welcome.
