Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Rural France is so fabulous to explore, or just be here and relax any time of year. The one thing you are sure of is the warm and friendly welcome. The hardest thing you will have to do here is…..leaving when it is time to go home. Guests have access to two fishing lakes - we don’t offer equipment hire. There is also a swimming pool and bar with pool table. Twin Lakes is a family run campsite and someone is always on hand to help or answer your questions. We would recommend bringing your car or hiring one from the airport. Twin Lakes Caravan Park is located close to Montendré- a village with many attractions. Here you will find a large park that has a fishing lake with a man made sandy beach ideal for children.They have water sports on offer, pedal boat hire, bicycle hire, go fishing, relax on the beach or next to the bar. Montendré has a weekly market on a Thursday which is excellent, and offers a wide range of produce from food to fashion - well worth a trip. During the summer period we also have the Night Market on Tuesdays from mid July until the end August. From early evening the streets are lined with stalls and the centre is laid with tables and benches. Local producers are there to sell their wares from fashion, footwear, toys gifts, breads, specialty cheeses to the finest of wines, vegetables from local farms, honey, jams, both hot and cold food on sale - hence the tables. It is a meeting place for locals and tourists to sample from the stalls; sit, relax and eat to your heart’s content. A folk museum of art and traditions is located in the keep of the castle, showing costume collections and furniture.
