Russell House can accommodate up to 7 people with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a stunning outside deck with sea views. Kitchen & Dining Room A fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, nutribullet and toaster. The dining room fits 6 round the table comfortably. An electrically powered Rayburn stove makes it a cosy space. A high chair is also available. Bluetooth speaker and board games are also found in the wooden chest here. Lounge Large comfortable living area with 2 large sofas and chair. 40 inch smart TV with Netflix. Selection of DVDs. Wood burning stove. Garden Deck A wooden deck at the top of the garden with stunning sea views of St Mawes. There is a table and seating. Utility Area Utility Area connected to the kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, a second fridge and fishing/rock pooling equipment. (Master) Bedroom 1 - King Size Bed. The master bedroom is at the front of the house with lovely views down Commercial Road to the harbour. Antique chest of drawers and hanging space. En-suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin (see below) (Double) Bedroom 2 - King Size bed. This is the only bedroom at the rear of the property. It is super peaceful. Antique wardrobe and chest of drawers (Twin) Bedroom 3 - Two single beds. This room can accommodate adults or children. A modest amount of built in hanging space plus a chest of drawers. (Single) Bedroom 4 - Single bed. A charming single room. Lovely and light. Chest of drawers. Bathroom 1 - Ground floor - WC and wash basin Bathroom 2 - First floor family bathroom. Bath, shower, WC and wash basin Bathroom 3 (en-suite) - First floor - Shower, WC and wash basin Bed Linen & Towels - Provided but please bring your own beach towels. We live in London, this is our family second home. St Mawes is a beautiful coastal village with an array of activities available. From relaxing on the beach, kayaking around the estuary or taking a walk on the vast expanse of local footpaths. It has a wealth of dining options, including some of the best destinations in Cornwall. A car is very practical as it gives you the most amount of options when visiting beaches or walks. There are two car parks in St Mawes. The first is on the Quay-side (50m from Russell House) or the main car park (200m away) No car ? No problem ! You can come down easily by train or coach (to Truro) and then transfer by taxi or local bus. Once in St Mawes there is a wealth of local walks as well as the Place Ferry (in season), the Falmouth Ferry and boat trips up the Carrick Roads. You will be well entertained ! During low season the minimum stay is 3 days and in peak weeks the minimum stay is 7 nights... from Saturday to Saturday. Accessibility Information. Russell House is a historic grade 2 listed building. There are three stone steps (with handrail) to enter the house. The staircase to the first floor is quite narrow, it does benefit from good handrails. The deck in the rear garden is up steps, some of which are steep.
