Relaxing holiday home with Pool and Jacuzzi

Perfect for relaxing, cycling, good wine and good food, a weekend away with friends, or relaxing family holidays. No party groups, sorry! On the edge of a pretty village with a bakery, restaurant, shop, park and tennis court. Less than an hour from Bordeaux, Cognac and St Emilion. Private south facing patio area for outdoor dining and a fire pit. 6 person jacuzzi and sun-heated pool with sun bathing decks on two sides. Pool and jacuzzi in use from mid May to mid/late September. Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of preparation space, fridge, gas oven and hob, sink and storage space. Open plan living / dining room with a large, expandable table, coffee machine, drinks fridge and microwave. Living room has a big open fireplace and two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. Games corner with loads of games as well as a TV for DVDs. Various old Playstations and games. Downstairs bedroom has a double bed, large drawer unit and an electric keyboard, with double doors onto the garden. Upstairs the two double bedrooms are at each end of the house, one also has a toddler bed. with a landing, bathroom and bunk bedroom between. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunks so sleeps up to 4. The house has enough beds for 12 but we limit it to 8 to ensure it is well cared for. Outdoor hot shower in addition to a downstairs shower / utility room and a main bathroom with bathtub. The house is set in it's own private grounds, backing on to open hay fields and woodland. There is a fenced pond in the garden. You'll have full and private use of the entire house, pool and gardens. The host lives off site. In the village there is a couple who look after the house and another couple who look after the pool and garden. We are at the end of the phone or email. Everything is within walking distance in the village. There is a park, picnic lake, boulangerie, shop, restaurant, tennis court and boule court. There are endless walks and cycle routes in the area, setting off from the house. The nearest town with a large supermarket, Montguyon, is a 10 minute drive. We'd recommend that you need a car to get around. We have numerous bicycles in varying states of repair for you to use. We just ask that you please leave them ready to go for the next guests. There is no wifi in the house but excellent 4G.
