Butmaroo Station is situated in its own sheltered picturesque valley with Butmaroo Creek running through the entire property with Tallaganda National Park on the southern boundary. Butmaroo is perfect for guests who love to connect to nature or just need a place to relax and unwind. It is an ideal venue for family get togethers, groups of friends, a small conference or even a couple that wants a very special place to connect. The property can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests . We offer you a welcome breakfast consisting of a selection cereals, tea and coffee. Things to do: •Meet the sheep, cows, horses, chickens and peacocks •Walk and take in some breathtaking views •Have a picnic •Set out for some bird watching •Sit on the verandah and watch the night sky •Play cricket, soccer, football on the ample grounds •Canoe on the dam •Soak up the sun on the lawn. •Connect with nature while doing yoga •Curl up with a glass of red and a good book (or loved one) on the lounge. •Cook a roast •Sleep in We can help you connect to cafes, pubs, restaurants, wineries, bike trails and many other wonderful things to do in the area, As Butmaroo is a working farm there is always one of our family members or employees available if you are in need of assistance. Situated in the popular Bungendore district, 15kms from the historical Bungendore village, 48kms Canberra and approx 40 mins to Canberra International Airport, and 285kms from Sydney via the Hume Highway Butmaroo Station is a 2500 acre cattle and sheep farm. While it is predominantly pastoral it has a lovely balance of native bush and waterways. The southern end of the farm is bounded by the National Park. Our family occupy another house on the property as does our stationhand, Riley. We will be on site to welcome you for your stay at Butmaroo or we simply use our self check in. Our house’s are close enough to be of assistance, but far enough away to offer you complete privacy.
