Either in front of the 54 inch smart TV including complimentary NETFLIX & APPLE TV or in the cozy hanging chair on the welcoming patio with a marvelous view of the Rhine River – greatness is awaiting. A restful night on the big and comfortable bed (1,60 m x 2,00 m) is guaranteed. The two sofa beds in the living room (1.42 m x 2.00 m) offer additional sleeping options for up to four people. Your clothing can easily fit the closet integrated in the hallway. Passionately selected furniture provides for a higher standard of living. Various sources of lighting provide for coziness. You will find real plants, books and tons of love for detail which lets this apartment make you feel more at home than most of the other apartments on AirBnB. A conveniently equipped kitchenette including electric stove, kettle or water boiler, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware has got everything for a lovely cooked meal. Spices, flavors, and olive oil are ready to be used. Your cooking skills can be enjoyed on the large wooden table in the dining area of the living room complemented by comfy chairs. The bathroom includes a shower with a sprinkler head. There are fresh towels on the bed ready for you. In the bathroom you will find everything you need: Additional towels, hairdryer, new toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, etc. This apartment is immediately located at the “Flaniermeile auf der Kleinbasler Seite” which is a famous meeting point for insiders to go out and enjoy the rest of the day – an ideal balance to big city hustles. Basically in the apartment with the double bed in the bedroom and the two sofa beds in the living room can sleep 6 people. The apartment is located directly on the "Mittlere Brücke" on the Kleinbasel side, only 50 m from the tram stop "Rheingasse". There are several direct tram connections both from the central station "SBB" and from the station "Basel Badischer Bahnhof" to the "Rheingasse" stop, which is why traveling by public transportation is extremely easy. Due to the extremely central location, arriving by car is not advisable as there are no free parking spaces directly at the property. However, there are chargeable public parking garages in the vicinity of the accommodation, in which the car can also be parked for longer stays. The apartment is located in the very lively Clara quarter on the Kleinbasel side of the Rhine. The quarter is characterized by its many small bars, restaurants and "pubs" and is a popular meeting place for young and old. The old town with its numerous boutiques and shopping opportunities is less than 5 minutes' walk away by a lovely walk over the "Mittlere Brücke" to reach. All museums and sights can be easily reached by public transportation. The fairground and Basel Cathedral are also close to the accommodation and can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot or very easily by tram. The tram stop "Rheingasse" is only 50 m away from the apartment. From here, both the station "Basel Badischer Bahnhof" and the central station "SBB" can be reached in just a few minutes. The exhibition center / fairground is also only 3 stops away. Due to the extremely central location directly in the city, the high number of pedestrians and the lack of free parking spaces, it is advisable to travel without a car - however, there are chargeable parking garages near the accommodation. The apartment is on the ground floor of an old building with several tenants. The apartment was completely renovated in 2016 and equipped with contemporary and modern kitchen equipment. Due to the listed facade, a charming contrast between old and new is created.
