Welcome to our cosy, warm and stylish flat close to Glasgow & on Loch Lomond's doorstep! Our one-bedroom flat is in a 130 year old building and in a leafy, quiet neighbourhood overlooking Dumbarton Castle, which is a 5 minute walk and has beautiful vistas over the River Clyde. Close by there are numerous shops, convenience stores, takeaways and supermarkets. A short drive away is Loch Lomond National park and the train station (2 minute walk) takes you to the major Scottish cities! Our flat is in a lovely old building which dates back to the 19th century, so if you’re looking for bags of character and old period features, this is the perfect choice. However, if you’re looking for modern, sleek lines and pristine living, a more modern apartment/building may be better suited! Our peaceful and quiet ground floor apartment is very cosy with dark tones, natural wood and lovely soft furnishings. There is a HD 4K TV with Virgin Media channels, smart TV apps, Netflix, YouTube, BBC IPlayer and fast broadband internet throughout the apartment. The bedroom sleeps upto 3 people (double bed & optional foldaway single bed on request). The bedroom also has a large walk-in wardrobe with full-length mirrors, as well as a dressing table/study area overlooking the private garden. There’s also a utility room with washing machine. Our bathroom has recently been redecorated and provides fluffy towels, large old bathtub and a very powerful shower! Our kitchen is small, modern & perfectly designed for all your needs, with plenty of cooking equipment and utensils. To the front of the property are views of the leafy square, where we personally love to go to enjoy a coffee and read in the mornings! There's plenty of free on-street parking all around the flat, too. We love having people use our space and will do everything possible to make your stay perfect. The flat itself overlooks a lovely leafy square, with benches to sit and admire the historic views. We're right beside Dumbarton Castle which is on top of Dumbarton Rock, and there is a local shore walk which can be enjoyed, too. Within walking distance you will find the train station to take you straight into Glasgow, Edinburgh or Argyll, as well as excellent public transport links. We are a minute's drive away from the main road links to Erskine Bridge, Glasgow, Argyll and Loch Lomond National Park. Finally, you're only 15 minute's drive/taxi to Glasgow Airport!
