This charming semi detached farmhouse with European flair is located in a peaceful, quiet, rural setting with mature gardens + plenty of lawn space. There are friendly cats, a dog, alpaca, goats, geese, chooks, doves, aviary birds and Honey the horse. The open plan living area opens to 2 private verandah's with table + comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy a BBQ. The place is self contained with fully equipped kitchen. Not suitable for children, sorry. Adults only please. We have a big selection of books, puzzles, DVD's + CD's for those rainy days. On site is our wool craft shop with beautiful hand spun , hand dyed wool, garments + accessories from our alpaca + other fibers, an ideal New Zealand souvenir or gift. Guests have their own private entry door and have the use of their own lounge, kitchen, dinning, bathroom, bedrooms, verandah's and lawn. Your hosts Harold + Charlotte will ensure that you are having a comfortable + enjoyable stay + are always willing to help + answer your questions. Charlotte speaks both English + German. Horse riding can be arranged with a nearby horse trekking business. After riding you can relax in the natural hot pools or spa nearby. There are stunning coastal + bush walks + jet boat rides. The exciting Whale Island Tours are very popular, there is a seal colony + you might see some dolphins or whales on the way out. A car is essential for getting around from our place. Minimum stay of two nights. Adults only.
