La Petriola e' un casale in pietra dell'ottocentro immerso nelle colline che circondano la pianura di Gubbio in Umbria, il "Cuore Verde dell'Italia". E' situato nella localita' di Montanaldo a 15 minuti in macchina dal centro della città medievale di Gubbio. La posizione e' ideale per chi ha voglia di natura e di calma in famiglia o con amici. Located in the Umbrian hills close to the beautiful medieval city of Gubbio, la Petriola is an ideal accommodation for those who fancy an intimate experience with the open countryside together with family or friends. La Petriola, a 19th century house completely restructured, is situated in a large property surrounded by green and calm. At the Petriola, you can have a break from your day-to-day life, enjoy the nature and reconnect with yourself. We would also be more than happy to share time with you if you want some company for a walk, or some group activities like darts or boules games, or even cooking if you wish. We are happy to welcome children in our house and they are free to enjoy all the outdoor space. La Petriola offers the guests an entire and private space of 100 square meters on the first floor of the big stone house including: • One fully furnished kitchen with everything you need to cook, even the largest meals. Guests can use all the household utensils (pots, plates, glasses and cutlery). The kitchen also includes a fridge, gas stove, oven, and an antic fireplace. We also provide the basic condiments for cooking (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar…) • Two big bedrooms each with a queen size bed, a single bed, dressers, cupboard and hangers. • One fully equipped bathroom including a shower, a washbasin, a bidet, and a toilet. Outside, you can enjoy the garden, an olive tree field, a kitchen garden, a henhouse and a panoramic view of the valley. During the summer season, we can provide a small swimming pool to help you to cope with the hot days. We are open to share time with our guests if they wish. On the way to the Petriola, you will experience a stunning view of Gubbio and the Apennines mountains. From our house, you can also enjoy the panoramic view over the surrounding green valley. The Petriola is located 15 minutes by car from the center of Gubbio and 40 minutes from the Fossato-di-Vico train station. On demand, we can pick you up at the train station or in Gubbio and take you back after your stay. If you arrive by plane at the Perugia airport, you can take the shuttle to Gubbio (Bus E001) (Website hidden by Airbnb) In our house, we speak Italian, French, English and German.
