Aberdour has good transport links with Edinburgh and hosts several excellent restaurants, pubs and cafes, play parks, beautiful sensory garden, interesting shops, a links Golf Club, award-winning station, Boat Club, Heritage Centre and much more. Beautiful first floor apartment in a stone building that was built over a hundred years ago. Access is from the rear of the property. The spacious, bright main bedroom can either be set up with a king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your needs. It has large fitted wardrobes and a sitting area in the window. Bedroom 2: This is equipped with full-size bunk beds and a wardrobe. It is a smaller room but again lovingly and tastefully furnished. Lounge/dining room: This cosy room houses a sofa bed that can sleep a further 2 people. There is a TV with DVD player, a storage unit that holds books, DVDs, some board games and a few toys. The dining table invites to a cosy meal. Brand new modern kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a washing machine. We provide a good selection of quality (Le Cruset) pots. Stay within easy travelling distance of Edinburgh without the price tag! Aberdour has 2 award winning beaches, a castle that was a film location for 'Outlander, pretty train station and harbour, links golf course, beautiful Sensory garden and a fab 10-day Festival starting at the end of July. Edinburgh is only a 30 minutes' train ride away. You will be staying in a residential area in a quiet side street but only 2 minutes from the bus stop and 5 minutes' walk from Aberdour Station. Free unrestricted parking is available outside the property. However, a car is not necessary as we are very close to a bus stop and Aberdour train station. This property has only just come back as a holiday rental after one of our guests requested to stay on long-term. We do not charge a damage deposit. Please inform us of any damage immediately so it can be rectified before the next guests arrive. We will not claim for minor breakage as long as you let us know. For single-night bookings there is a surcharge of £80. Unfortunately the airbnb system does not allow for this to be added automatically.
