Stone House on the SEASIDE
This carefully restored 3 bedroomed house with air conditioning and every modern convenience, is located in a small properties beside the sea in Orahovac, a quiet village in the most select part of the remarkably beautiful Kotor Bay, a World Heritage Site. At the rear, a garden has parking for one car; at the front, a small terrace and lawns extend 5 metres to the sea. The coast is uncrowded and very safe for children. Orahovac is a traditional, peaceful fishing village with a largely resident population, and virtually no 'modern' development. A small, select hotel a few minutes walk along the waterfront was voted 'Best Boutique Hotel' in 2018 and has one of two good restaurants in the village. There are 2 small food stores, and the wonderful Cogi Food Hall within 10 minutes walk stocks the best fresh fish, international wines, and speciality foods - near one of the Bay's finest restaurants called Stari Mlini, created 50 years ago from an old olive mill by the sea. There is a lovely old 16th century church, 20 minutes walk up a steep hill above the village with marvellous views. There are no bars, clubs or other noisy activities in or near the village. The property is owned by a professional British couple living in Sussex, one of whom is Montenegrin by birth with many local connections. The property is looked after by Maja, who lives in Orahovac and speaks fluent English as well as Serbian. The few neighbouring houses are lived in by local people.The medieval town of Kotor is 10 minutes by car, the airport at Tivat 20 and Budva, a pretty medieval coastal town, is 20 km to the south. In the city we have local bus and it`s goes every 60 minutes. Also you can go by taxi and the prices are normal.
