We kindly ask everyone to PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES & DETAILS PRIOR BOOKING. A rustic and eco-friendly seaview nipa & glass treehouse concept situated in Tuazon Point, Brgy. Catangnan, Siargao, that displays the breathtaking view of the sea & palm trees. It is located within Tarzan's House property & is conveniently located near Cloud 9, resorts, & restaurants. This is a real treehouse. Hakuna matata! A brown information booklet entitled "trust me" is found inside the treehouse. Yes, trust me, you will need and like to read it. The space is meant for travelers wanting to commune with nature. Please consider that this is a "real treehouse" with "two live palm trees" incorporated within the structure, a home and experience ideal for nature lovers, surfers, and adventure seekers. IMPORTANT: Please KEEP TOILET FLOOR DRY. The only area to be wet is the shower room. Do not leave toilet flooring wet. The Treehouse is made of natural materials, please understand that water will drip to The Deck below and will destroy the wood if toilet flooring is left wet (except for the shower room of course). This hideaway is a studio type space with an attic that serves as the master sleeping area (queen size floor matress), and a sofa in the living room area (which serves as a single bed if booking is for 3 guests). It has 1 ac unit. Shower in glass and enjoy the view of the sea! Take note that the shower area is all glass- lower portion is smoked glass and the upper half is clear (there is a shower curtain for privacy). A friendly reminder, this treehouse is not suitable for shy and conservative travellers/not suitable for travelers accustomed to a typical hotel room set up. :) Given that this is a real treehouse, expect slight leakage of water to slightly penetrate the barks of the two live palm trees inside the house during heavy rains (not a cause for inconvenience because this area is far from the sleeping attic). Also, the roof is made of natural nipa, leakage might happen when it rains, when there is a storm or typhoon. Kindly inform us for maintenance to check. Take note that this is not your standard concrete hotel room. If it is windy, expect treehouse to sway a bit, expect squeaking/creaking sound( this is from the two palm trees incorporated inside the structure and is normal). If you are a sensitive sleeper, this Treehouse is not the right room for you. Consider that our location is a jungle. Hakuna matata! Expect mosquitoes and bugs, this is beyond our control. Though we try our best to avoid them, we cannot vouch that they will not be able to enter The Treehouse. Also, kindly be reminded to bring a mosquito repellent for your comfort. In-house guests have access to the deck area where they can either lounge on the floor, lay on the hammock, read a book, or simply listen to the sea waves. This area is where breakfast is served as well (please refer to house manual on this listing for details). Please message through Airbnb and email only. The property is perfect for guests wanting to take a breather. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. It is also conveniently located near cloud 9. The property is a 5 minute walk to Cloud 9. We are very near Bliss Restaurant, Harana Resort, and Zicatela. Also, just a 2 minute walk from the beach to an Italian Restaurant called L'Osteria and White Banana Beach Bar. *Given that the space is a treehouse, expect a bit of movement when the weather is windy, this is quite normal and nothing to be alarmed about. *The seaview bathroom allows fresh air to penetrate the space for good ventilation. Please expect fixture imperfections (tarnishes/specs of rust are normal for front beach living). This does not affect the quality of running water. *The structure is mainly built with natural materials such as wood, bamboo, and nipa. Furthermore, the entire frontage is made of glass. Therefore, do not expect a blasting cold air-conditioning unit, most especially during summer and certain time of the day. The amazing sea view is best enjoyed with fresh air. Slide all the glass windows wide open and enjoy the freshest seabreeze. This treehouse is an imperfectly perfect island home for travelers wanting to experience the rawness and true beauty of nature. There are currently 4 house pets (all adopted), 2 dogs (Icarus & Cronos) and 2 cats (Tarzan & Jane) that freely roam within the property. Siargao island itself is inevitably filled with stray dogs. They can bark/howl at anytime. The island is a jungle, expect mosquitoes, ants, insects, and pests. Please do not bring food inside for your utmost comfort. Though we try our best to avoid them, kindly consider that it is possible for pests to creep inside. Electric/Water supply interruptions are issues on the entire island. The only reason why we have water 24/7 is because we have a water pump and tank, without these, we are to be dependent on the water ration schedule in a day provided by the island's water cooperative. Though we do have a water tank to provide an extra supply during those odd situations, this too can run out. Please be advised to conserve water. If water tank runs out, we will be needing to wait for the scheduled time of water ration to have water supply and for our tank to be filled up ( water schedule is written in a booklet found in your room ). In case of unexpected electrical cuts/interruptions on the island, please be informed that we do not have a generator. As mentioned, we are eco-friendly. Our electrical water pump will not be able to supply water to the Treehouse, however the outdoor shower on the ground floor will be working fine. In addition, a bucket of fresh water can be provided for in your Treehouse if desired. For van transfer, motorbike rentals, and surf lessons, please visit the reception area.
