“The Yurt” glamping experience in Noosa Hinterland

Unique yurt accomodation close to Lake Cootharaba. **Please read full description prior to booking** One 5m diameter yurt with associated rustic style outhouse containing a composting toilet and a regular tiled shower with hot water. Private outdoor area includes a fire pit which may be used at any time subject to local fire restrictions. Electric heater, oil heater and evaporative cooler provided (during warmer seasons). PLEASE ONLY OPERATE COOLER ACCORDING TO PROVIDED INSTRUCTION MANUAL. Ice bricks located in freezer. Please stay within the area defined by fences and trees surrounding the yurt. The rest of the property is for private use and adjacent areas may have other guests staying (there is another Airbnb cabin close by). Available for questions via phone or Airbnb app. We prefer to let guests arrive and stay in peace, on their own! Within close driving distance to Lake Cootharaba, Noosa, and many hinterland towns and attractions. Your own car is essential. - Backs on to a 90km/hr road which can be busy early weekday mornings and during the day. Usually quiet at night. - The toilet is a composting style. Please place half a scoop of provided organic material into bowl after use. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE SANITARY ITEMS INTO THE TOILET! I have to personally dig around in there to get them out. Not super fun! - Limited phone reception (Telstra has the best availability) - NO WIFI - One very small tv for DVD’s only. No tv reception. - Kettle and fridge provided but no cooking facilities for safety reasons. - BRING DRINKING WATER! The rain water is high in tannins - ok for showering and washing hands but maybe not for drinking. - I have a sweet Labrador cross named Jack. He may come and say hello, if you don’t want him there just say “GO HOME” and he should leave you alone!
