Detached, intimate and comfortable accomodation, located inside a typical courtyard of the historical center of Galatone. The building, dating back to the 17th century, consists of a large living area with open kitchen, adjoining bedroom with sofa bed and bathroom. A large mezzanine is used as a sleeping area. We follow a special cleaning protocol to sanitize the rooms, applying a 24-hour interval between one stay and another. The structure is inserted in a typical Salento context and located on the ground floor. It features a barrel vaulted ceiling and walls with exposed arches in “Leccese” tuff ashlars. The apartment is equipped with all comforts. The house is entirely available to guests. The accommodation is located in the heart of the historic center of Galatone, in a quiet street, a short walk from the two main squares of the village and all services. Bars and restaurants are within easy reach. Galatone enjoys an excellent position to visit the beauties of Salento. Just 10 km from the beautiful sandy beaches of Gallipoli. You can easily reach the Natural Park of Porto Selvaggio (8 km), Lecce and its baroque beauty (24 km - 15 min by car) and with extreme ease the quaint villages of the heart of Salento. It is also well connected to the Adriatic coast (Otranto). Parking is available in the immediate vicinity (50/100 meters - max 2 min walking distance). The house is located in a characteristic street in the historic center. No private parking is available. You can enter freely (to access there is no restricted traffic zone). Very close to the house (50 - 100 mt / max 2 min walking distance) there is wide parking available, where you can park both for free (white stripes) and for a fee (blue stripes).
