Self Contained Garden Cottage

Newly converted cottage in the garden of a family home. Downstairs living space, upstairs bedroom and en-suite shower room. Convenient location in beautiful area - private parking and walkable to station and town centre. Self-contained cottage in garden of family home. Downstairs living area with 2 sofas, smart TV and sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Please note there is no oven or washing machine. Upstairs bedroom has a super king bed. This can be rearranged as 2 singles - please just give us a bit of notice as it requires moving the furniture around! En-suite shower room. Velux windows have blackout blinds. There's no cooked breakfast but the cottage will be stocked with fresh bread or croissants, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, butter and jam. I can usually be flexible about check in/check out time (depending on bookings before and after) - please just ask! There is a patio and bench directly outside the cottage and you can also take the chairs outside if these are more comfortable. You are very welcome to enjoy the garden - this is our family garden so we may also be using it! We may not always be around, but when we are, we're very happy to make ourselves available if you need any help or information regarding the local area. Farnham is a lovely historic market town set in beautiful Surrey countryside about 40 miles outside of London. It is also convenient for the Farnborough Air Show (8 miles), Goodwood (27 miles), Jane Austen's house at Chawton (11 miles), and within an hour of Thorpe Park, Windsor, Winchester, and Portsmouth. Farnham itself is on the North Downs Way and a wonderful place for walking and cycling with hills, valleys, lakes and pretty villages all within the immediate countryside and plenty of good pubs to stop at. The town centre is largely Georgian, with a castle (open to the public) and lots of shops, restaurants and coffee bars. Farnham is around 1 hour from London Waterloo and just over 30 miles from Heathrow airport. We are 0.75 miles from the station (about 15 minutes walk) to the station and another 5 minutes or so into the town centre - downhill from the house, uphill on way back! Taxis are nearly always available outside the station. Please let me know if you need cab numbers to book in advance. You will need to be picked up in front of the main house.
