Nomad Yurt
Our Yurts are situated in the rolling hills of Wales. On a 18th century smallholding, Sitting in its own private valley, with 24 acres of forest - ancient trees, little streams, natural gardens and adjoining 2000 acres of heather-clad moorland. A peaceful, and quiet location with sounds of bird songs and nature. Great for nature lovers and romantic getaways! Our Yurts are situated across the valley from facilities, around a 5 minute walk from the shared kitchens, bathrooms showers, wifi cafe, dining spaces, and parking. So please make sure that this is acceptable for you. You will need to drive to our Yurt - please note: finding the Yurt in the dark can be difficult and the single lane track is rather bumpy. We would suggest arriving in daylight. The Nomad Yurt has a double bed with luxury bedding and towels provided and room for storage underneath. We have a kettle, complementary tea, coffee and sugar in the Yurt itself, along with water, glasses and coffee mugs. The yurts are very cosy in the winter with a log burner and fire wood provided. There is also electricity in the yurts with lighting and an electric heater. There is a 24 foot decking and hammock and table to relax on and around the grounds. When the weather is plus around 25 degrees the yurts do also get hot during the day. The shared facilities are a 5 minute walk across the valley which has a large kitchen, dining area and shower block. Please note this is only shared with 1 other Yurt. We also have board games and books for all ages in the information room. We now have a eco friendly toilet between our 2 yurts with lighting! Bring warm clothes and also wellies :) Please note. Wifi is not available in the Yurts but in a dedicated on-site free wifi cafe. There is also very poor (none) mobile reception here so there is an on-site pay phone available 24/7, which has freephone emergency neighbour contacts should no one be here and you need anything. There is also 24 acres of woodland you are free to explore with plenty of walks and OS maps on the Internet cafe you are free to use. Due to COVID-19 we have made the self check-in so guests can show them selves into their accommodation. Our contacts details are also supplied if needed. Newtown is the closest town around 10 mile away. This has everything you need, from Tesco, Morrison’s, Lidl to banks, butcher, a bakery and plenty of pubs, cafes etc to get a nice bite to eat! The Radnorshire Arms beguildy is 10 min away, a great pup for a quiet drink and also has the most amazing food! Please note: furry friends are always welcome but we do charge £10 per dog per stay which can be paid on arrival.
