A lovely heritage house in the heritage conservation part of Epping. Quiet and safe yet VERY close and easy stroll to the railway station. This is the line between Sydney city and Newcastle. The EXPRESS train to Epping is called limited stops. And that is the quickest way when travelling from central station. There is no lock on the bedroom door but it can be arranged. Welcome to Sissinghurst! This is a beautiful old federation house with a lovely garden. FIVE MINUTES WALK to train station and bus terminal. Express train to Sydney City CBD takes 35 mins. An ideal stay for people needing to travel to SYDNEY CBD, Parramatta, Hornsby or to MACQUARIE UNI. The room is very spacious with twin beds You are welcome to use my fully equipped kitchen. Whilst staying with me you can expect a quiet relaxed atmosphere. You can sit in a sunny Italian style courtyard and drink lots of tea (or wine). Help yourself, when you are ready, Prepare a snack or tea and coffee at anytime. Your room is YOUR room and your privacy will be respected at all times. You will be advised which day the cleaner will come so that you can prepare your room, unless you prefer not. We have: - 2 bathrooms -Wifi Internet -Lounge room -Kitchen -lots of books to read -BBQ -Courtyard -Garden Kitchen, Laundry, sitting room. Lovely garden. You will need to share a bathroom. And morning use needs to be speedy. We live in a quite, safe and leafy suburb of Sydney. No traffic noise, just the birds chirping! The surrounding streets are known for their Heritage Listed houses, built in the old Australian Federation style. However, it is only a 4 minute walk to numerous restaurants, shops and transport. The big 'Coles' supermarket is 4 minutes walk away. Try the local restaurants, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Korean, Indian, Chinese etc. Epping is great for transport. You can stroll down to the station/bus terminal and reach anywhere in Sydney including: Macquarie University 3 minutes train ride (One stop) Homebush Olympic Park/sporting arena Hornsby Chatswood Parramatta Sydney CBD Express train 35 mins Respect your privacy but always available to help you.
